Mother and I didn't want to waste the lovely weather so we decided to go around central London on a sunny Wednesday. All the places that we went to are places we've been before, some of them we've actually been far too many times. However, we never did stop and consider taking pictures. So, why not act like tourists today? Yes, that's what we did, coz we are sooo cool!
FIRST STOP! Piccadilly Circus
Piccadilly Circus Station |
I did the same pose again in Cool Britannia shop! |
Mum and I posing with Michael Jackson, forever a legend. RIP. |
If only there was wind... I could have done a better pose, but there were too many people looking at me HAHA |
I don't know what kind of car this is, but it's cool right? Loving the UK flag design, only if there was a Philippines flag version... |
The Four Bronze Horses of Helios statue at the edge of Piccadilly and Haymarket. Created by sculptor Rudy Weller in 1992. |

Reading 'London Evening Standard', a free local daily newspaper in London. But this one is extra special, as you can see, it's larger than me. |
Wagamama (located in Haymarket)- my favourite Japanese restaurant. |
Mama Luth's order - Yakisoba: £7.55 Teppan-fried soba noodles with chicken, shrimps, egg, beansprouts, peppers, white and spring onions, garnished with fried shallots, pickled ginger and sesame seeds. |
Mama's order - Salmon Teriyaki Soba: £11.20
Grilled teriyaki salmon on a bed of teppan fried soba noodles with curry oil, mangetout, chillies, red and spring onions, beansprouts and bok choi. With teriyaki sauce, coriander and sesame seeds. |
My order (and my favourite!) - Chicken Katsu Curry: £9.15
Chicken breast deep-fried in panko breadcrumbs, served with a curry sauce and sticky white rice. Garnished with dressed mixed leaves and red pickles. |
Happy tummy! Now we're back on board with our voyage!
THIRD STOP! Back to Piccadilly Circus
Neon signs of Piccadilly Circus by day, 2012.
The site is unnamed (usually referred to as "Monico" after the Café Monico, which used to be on the site.)
The earliest signs used to be incandescent light bulbs, but now they are replaced with neon lights, as well as moving signs. The site has six illuminated advertising screens, dominated by Coke, McDonalds and Samsung. |

What a good journey! Indeed a very successful day-out with mama, enjoying some of the culture and tourist attractions in Central London. Not only that but we also enjoyed our food trip from delicious food spots such as Wagamama, Wasabi and Cranberry.
